I have trained with club bells for about eight years and I love the way… I can feel how my shoulders is burning after a workout. It is the same burning feeling when I swing the ice axe on the top of a route and feel the lack of shoulder endurance and precision in my mind when I have that speciel spot I like to hit.
It is also very demanding for your core muscles.
The think I really like and find interesting with the Club bells is the way you can train your brain with precision movement which I believe is transferable to the precise swing that we like on the fragile and thin ice.
